CDP® Certified Dementia Practitioner® states that you have taken your profession to the next level and that you are educated in the field of Dementia. Not only are you qualified to work with dementia clients, but you’re certified. Certification standards require education, experience, and continuing education.

Does everyone qualify for the CDP® Certification?

Anyone can attend the NCCDP Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar. If you are pursuing certification as a CDP®, you must complete the NCCDP Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar by an approved NCCDP Instructor. Not everyone will qualify for CDP® certification. The seminar is but one of the requirements for those pursuing certification as a CDP®. Please download the application to determine if you qualify for CDP® certification and to determine which track you would follow when pursuing certification as a CDP®.
